Ok, you know what bread stores are all about so here are ten best bread store tips to get the most from your shopping experience with the least amount of cash.

  1. Look for posted specials in the store. Often there are deals like buy 3 loaves of bread at a reduced price over a single loaf.
  2. Be sure to buy in the sale quantity. If 3 loaves result in the best price buy in 3’s, 6’s, 9’s to get the lowest price.
  3. If they are out of a product that you want, ask if they have it “in the back”, most of the time they will look for it for you.
  4. Also, ask if there is a certain day or time they get deliveries. These times would be the best to stop in and shop as they will have the largest selection.
  5. Buy early in the day. They only have a limited amount of bread products so once they are gone you’ll have to wait until the next delivery.
  6. One of our bread stores has a daily special. If you spend more than $5.00 you get a free product from a special rack.

The bread store has changed it’s free product policy so that you get one free item for $5.00 and two free items for $15.00 spent.

  1. Be sure to look over the entire store. There could be different prices for the same type of product with the only thing being different is the brand of bread.
  2. Both stores in my area have a bread store card. One is printed for $30.00 and the other store is printed for $15.00. The cards are free. As you buy bread the dollar amount gets crossed off, when the card is filled or completely crossed off you get free bread products of your choice. Make sure you get your cards if the store uses them.
  3. One of the bread stores has a weekly manager’s sale day and added discounts for seniors. Also, the dollar amount for your bread card is doubled on this day.
  4. Some types of bread freeze better than others. Whole grain bread freezes beautifully, but the hot dog and hamburgers buns do not. So buy accordingly.
